A pharmaceutical-grade 70% DMSO solution, made in the EU and already diluted and ready for use, is highly recommended for reducing swelling and inflammation, and improving the appearance of scars or other skin imperfections. It is applied externally with caution and consistency, a few drops on clean skin at a time, and not on open cuts or sores. It is not recommended to use in contact with fabric as it can stain. Although it does not work for everyone, DMSO has many other uses, which people should read about and decide on their own.
