Answer : They are not washable because they are made of wood, we suggest to use the wet cloth to wipe the surface, please be sure to make it dry before storage, otherwise, it will easy to get mildew.

Question : Why are these suggested for children 18 months or older?
Answer : They are larger than the blocks you buy at the store. purchased them for my 8 month old grandson, he was a little too young for them, but at about 15 months, he loved them. My 2nd grandson is just a month and I will be getting another set for his birthday. I love the dye ( no lead paint)
Question : Is anyone finding the edges are sharp?
Answer : I did not find the edges to be sharp. They are just a basic block.
Question : I received this and figured i have extra letters whereas certain letters are missing...
Answer : Mine had at least 1 of each letter plus extra vowels.
Question : I read that it is from Australia but are any parts (paint) of this product from China?
Answer : I am don’t think so, but I think the company that made them (in Australia) would answer that concern. I looked closely when buying them and I think that they used a quality paint that would not flake off. I advise checking with the maker. I hope this helps. Pat
