- Question : How do I assemble the three pieces?Answer : Sorry I did not get back to you before this but the unit is A1 and I will call you when I need a new on.
- Question : Is this faceshield ANSI z87.1 rated?Answer : Yes it is! I will add a complaint about it though. While it does do its job, the tiny hex nut on the back center of the headband frequently falls out and gets lost in the shop because the adjusting of the headband size causes the bolt and nut to loosen. Some threadlocker is needed.
- Question : How much heat before it melts and deforms? Use face protection feeding wood in very large arch that is ripping hot. Temp rated for?Answer : We use these with a #5 shade lens for torch welding/cutting and they do fine as long as the wearer is 12" away from the 5000 degree flame.

The BRUFER 223102 Full Face Shield Mask is a good option for those in the manufacturing, grinding or Construction profession. The mask comes with an adjustable headgear to provide comfort during use. The unit is well Constructed and is ANSI z87.1 rated for added safety and protection. Customers have complained about the assembly of the mask as the hole to allow the knob to go through is too small. The mask also has a small hex nut on the back center of the headband that frequently falls out and gets lost causing the bolt and nut to loosen, some thread locker is recommended. However, there is a reassuring feature that comes with the package: a ziplock bag made of thick plastic to protect the face shield when not in use.
