The Hamilton Beach Digital Programmable Rice Cooker & Food Steamer is easy to use and the right size for a family of 4. It cooks rice perfectly every time and is super easy to clean. While it may not have all the fancy features of more expensive rice cookers, it gets the job done. However, some users have experienced inconsistency in cooking and have had issues with overcooked or undercooked rice. The instructions may not be very clear, but with more use, it becomes easier to figure out. The steam basket stains easily, which is a cosmetic issue. Overall, it is a good rice cooker for small families.
