- Question : I liked dr. scholes' flexo foam arch support, no longer sold; its centered metatarsal pad was good for my metatarsalgia; does this have one?Answer : These have excellent arch support. They fit about 2/3 in length into the shoe, I'd say they end right at ball of foot.
- Question : why do the women's cost more than the men's?Answer : The higher cost for the women's version is likely due to the 'pink tax'. Though the 'pink tax' isn't technically a tax, it is a markup in price based solely on the product's color, which is often some variation of pink, lavender, etc. Some people claim that the 'pink tax' doesn't even exist or, if it does exist, it's a very small-scale issue. Personally, I've seen the 'pink tax' applied to a good number of products ranging from razor blades to bicycles, & though I have nothing against pink/lavender, I'm not paying extra for it.

The Dr. Scholl's Comfort Tri-Comfort Insoles are recommended to be worn on top of the existing insoles in shoes and can be worn in flats. They have excellent arch support, are absorbent of any shock to the feet, and are comfortable to wear. However, some buyers found them too thin and lacking in support, and some experienced back pain. The women's version is more expensive possibly due to the "pink tax." Overall, they are well-made and fit most shoes well.
