I bought the bigger knitter and did put finger weight on it and it knit ok. It turns out to be a looser knit and a little smaller hat but it was still a good looking hat.

Is this easy for someone who has never knit,crochet, or sewn in their life?

I cannot get it to work. I constantly skips stitches and I end up starting over. I knit and crochet but have arthritis and thought this machine would help. I have gone back to crocheting myself as I have spent hours trying to get this thing to work with no success. I am very disappointed in this product.

What diameter in circular does this make. is it wide enough for socks?

Circular knitted items - Ø 10 to 15 cm (4" to 6") Yes, you can knit socks.

Just use the search on Bing or which ever site you use to search with and type in Addi Expression Professional and click and you will have a hole lot of sites to choose from. Just depends on the part that is needed.

Can you use bulky yarn no. 5 & 6?

Generally no. It depends on what you are making and the quality of the yarn.

Can you knit Mens hat on the addi express

You need the Addi King to make any child, women or men’s hats. I use the Addi Expenses for scarves, it makes them approximately 4 inches wide.

Can #4, medium weight yarn and baby weight yarn be used on this knitter?

Yes this machine is designed for 3 and 4 weights....it will take some smaller 5 yarns. Just know that it loudly clicks at the black needles due to the manual counter. Overall a great machine.

Can you make socks with this version of the addi express

Yes- tutorial available on YouTube

Is this knitting machine knit infant to toddler hats?

You need the Addi King for this. This one will make children’s scarfs, premie hats, etc. I have both and use both.
