    Answer : Rescue can kill a broad-spectrum of pathogens including canine parvovirus.
  • Question : Is Rescue safe for animals and equipment?
    Answer : Yes, Rescue is gentle on users, animals and equipment and does not require use of PPE.
  • Question : Can Rescue be used for household cleaning?
    Answer : Rescue is mainly designed for veterinary use and animal shelters, but it can be used on floors, litter boxes and cages in households.
  • Question : Can I spray this over my carpet?
    Answer : Unfortunately, we cannot recommend that you spray this on carpet, as this product should only be used on hard, non-porous surfaces.
  • Question : I understand this product is ready to use; however, what is the dilution (from Rescue concentrate) of this product?
    Answer : Although the technology behind all Rescue® disinfectant products is the same, the Ready to Use liquid and Concentrate are actually two distinct formulations and are not to be confused as the same product: the Concentrate is designed to be diluted before use, and the Ready-to-Use formulation is available in liquid form and as wipes which should not be diluted. The Ready-to-Use products have a shorter contact time (1 minute), while the Concentrate requires a contact time of 5-10 minutes depending on the chosen dilution. You cannot dilute the Concentrate product to have a shorter than 5 minute contact time.
  • Question : Is it dispensed in bottle and sprayed via nozzle or doused on any paper towels/cloth and wipe?
    Answer : I put it in a spray bottle and spray surfaces. After it sits for a few minutes I wipe up the excess. I sometimes have used it on paper towels but not generally.
  • Question : Does this kill all types of ringworm?
    Answer : On my bottle it states, "Fungicidal in 30 seconds " ?
  • Question : How can you use this on a cat tree that the same cats will use again? How long should i wait until they can use the tree again?
    Answer : I use it on my cat trees after each foster(s) have left. Once it dries it can be used again.
  • Question : Does this kill C diff bacteria? (Clostridium difficile)
    Answer : This product does not have an EPA registered claim for effectiveness against Clostridium Difficile.
  • Question : Can I soak my dog leash and harness in this solution?
    Answer : I would think it would be fine, when it dries I just don’t know if it would change the feel of the material but you could test a small area and see what it looks like after it dries before you soak all of it
  • Question : Does this kill gardia?
    Answer : I believe it does, look through previously answered question
  • Question : Can this be used in clothes washing machines for soiled bedding of a sick animal? If so, in what amounts?
    Answer : I have not used this in a washing machine as very hot water and whatever detergent you use should suffice.
