Oeuf River Twin Bed, Birch

The Oeuf River Twin Bed is a platform bed that's made from solid Baltic birch plywood. It includes a built-in bench at the foot of the bed and a storage drawer that can be positioned on either side of the bed. The bedframe can accommodate a standard twin or full-size mattress, and it does not require a box spring. Customers had several questions surrounding the height of the mattresses this bed could accommodate. The maximum mattress height with the Universal Security rail is 8 inches, although the bed can handle a mattress as high as 12 inches. However, 8 inches is the best thickness in terms of comfort and appearance. While the bed is often marketed towards children, it can be used for adults as well. The trundle can be used with a mattress smaller than twin size, and it does not raise up. The bed is not available in twin XL size.
