The Scotch-Brite Non-Scratch Scrub Sponges come damp in a saltwater solution which is harmless and ready to use. They are not safe for microwave use, are not compostable, and not BPA free. They are safe to use on auto-glass but not on dirt, especially if it is harsh. They are not kosher. Customers had mixed feelings about the product. Some reviews highlighted the product's durability, effectiveness of removing tough grime, and the fact that they do not leave behind little pieces of the sponge. However, some reviews noted that the sponges are thinner and smaller than previous versions, leading to their quality being affected. Some customers also complained about an off-putting smell, the sponges being individually wrapped instead of in a nine pack, and some disappointment with the product's longevity.
