    Answer : Yes, it is water resistant up to 100 meters.
  • Question : What is the case diameter of the watch?
    Answer : The case diameter of the watch is 37 MM.

    Answer : The lug width of the watch is 18 MM.
  • Question : Can you wear this watch showering?
    Answer : The watch is rated 100 meters which means that it is OK to snorkel but not scuba. Showering would be OK but the strap would be wet, then you could develop a rash on your wrist. I don't wear mine in the shower. The hands glow nicely if you wear it to bed. This is one of 20 or so watches I have, and sold watches in the past.
  • Question : Is this watch emp proof?
    Answer : With what's currently going on in the world, why would you make fun of this question? It's legitimate. No, it would not survive an effective EMP attack. Get a good mechanical watch such as a Seiko SNK 809 or equivalent. Wear it enough to monitor its accuracy. Mine consistently runs +10 sec/day so I know that every 6 days, I need to move it back a minute. If you get a hacking watch, i.e. the second hand stops when you pull out the crown, you can just be more exact in setting it. Also get a vehicle w/o electronic ignition, one that has a distributor with points, condenser, coil and NO electronic fuel injection (has carburetor).. Laugh at this person all you want as he drives by you, knowing the correct time while your cars and most other electronic devices have been rendered useless.
  • Question : What is its diameter? Is the diameter of this watch 5.9 inches?
    Answer : The 5.9 inches and weight listed is the size of the packaging. Look at the Citizen web page for the sizes in metric of the watch face.
  • Question : Where can I find a replacement band for this watch?
    Answer : The stock band is uncomfortable and poorly made. I immediately sought out a replacement for it. For an authentic field watch look that is very comfortable in hot weather, look at the single-pass canvas straps from Haveston. For two-piece options with tool-less spring bars, check out Barton. These are reasonably priced options that are very well made. There are two camps of thought on military field watch straps, some like the NATO straps, these were a MOD innovation. Others prefer the single-pass strap, which was more common in US Armed Forces GS watches, but were also MOD issue for a time. Nylon is a really tough material, but canvas is more comfortable in hot weather.
  • Question : Is there a comparable tan strap?
    Answer : Citizen does not make a tan strap to fit that model but you might be able to find something 'after market' that would work.
  • Question : How loud is the tick?
    Answer : There is a very small tick but you have to be in a quiet room and hold it next to your ear to hear. I never knew how loud my other watches were till I had this.
  • Question : My date (numbers) changed around 1am but the day changed to the Spanish day at 2am and not the next English day. Help.
    Answer : I usually try to reset my day/date by setting it to one day earlier and then rolling the hour hand through to the correct day/date and time. You can do this by pulling out the stem and crown one (1) click clockwise will turn the day, counter-clockwise will turn the date. Pulling the stem out two clicks will adjust the time.   • Question : Screw-down crown? Thanks.
    Answer : Although the 'specs' of this watch clearly state that it IS a screw-down crown. This is false advertising, as it is NOT!
  • Question : What is the size of the glass face?
    Answer : The mineral crystal measures approximately 3cm or 30mm or 1 1/4 inches. Please note that this does not include the case, it is strictly the crystal.

The Citizen Men's Eco-Drive Weekender Garrison Field Watch is a popular choice among watch enthusiasts.
