One side is soft which the dog likes and the other for teasing out tangles the dog doesn't like, but it works. If your dog has tangles or is matted, a tangle teaser made from plastic rather like the ones for women's hair would be kinder to the dog.
- Question : Is this any good for a double-coated Border Terrier?Answer : We have a Westie, so I don't know about your breed of dog. However, I purchased this brush to use over lockdown and it did a great job on a very thick long coat. I would think it would work well, and it was recommended by our dog groomer.
