- Question : Will 5 of these together hold up a 10 lb monitor?Answer : Honestly, probably 1 could hold a 10 lb monitor. I would feel comfortable with 2 or 3. I highly doubt 5 is even remotely necessary.
- Question : Is it strong enough to hold a phone in an aluminum case?Answer : The magnet is very strong and The weight of the additional aluminum would not pose a challenge. However, if the thickness of the aluminum on the back is too large it may impact the proximity of the magnet to the metal plate located on the inside. If this was a problem, you could put the magnetic plate on the back outside of the aluminum case.
- Question : Did you say the magnet is beige or is it gray or black?Answer : It's black. Just like the photo.
- Question : Will this hold a samsung 7” tab?Answer : Can't tell for sure as i never tried it, however, the magnet is very strong. it holds my iphone 8s through the otterbox casing with no sweat. based on that i would say if you are mounting the metal plate directly on your tab or on the casing and then use it, it should hold.
