- Question : How should I clean the shade sail?Answer : The shade sail can be cleaned by gentle spraying with a garden hose or light scrubbing on stains with a mild strength soapy water. DO NOT machine wash or dry.
- Question : I have a 16x16 area exactly. Do I want to buy a 16x16 or smaller to allow for stretching?Answer : Order smaller, I purchased 12x12 and my deck is 12x12 but it stretched and I can’t tighten
- Question : How does only one side allow rain to pass through?Answer : As I recall, the ad says the sail is not waterproof; rain will pass through the 'up' side.
- Question : How much force is required to pull taut? I want to install 4x4 posts into into large pots filled with concrete for my four posts. Will it hold?Answer : Absolutely NOT.... we buried and cemented 4x4 posts and that was almost not enough when a good storm would come through. This size sail really needs 4x6 posts to be able to withstand the pressure. Pots with cement won't do what you think it will.

You might be able to double up and try that, air flow would probably still go through if needing this or a different material that would be solid for privacy.
