This kit of 10 plug-and-play DB9 connectors includes 5 female-to-male and 5 male-to-female connectors. They are wired straight through and are designed to fix issues if the wrong gender RS-232 connector is on a cable. Customers note that the female connectors are built differently and perform well, but the male connectors can fall apart without hardware and may require LocTite super glue to be useful.
