AEM Air Intake Editorial Review
The AEM 21-796C Cold Air Intake System has garnered a mixed reception among customers. Many users appreciate the high-quality Construction and aesthetically pleasing design of the product, noting that it fits well with their vehicles and contributes an aggressive sound profile that some liken to a turbocharger. Installation appears to be a strong point, with several customers reporting that the instructions are clear and the process is straightforward, typically taking less than two hours. However, the promised performance enhancements have left a divide among users. Some customers claim to have experienced smoother acceleration and slight improvements in fuel efficiency, while others report that there was no noticeable power gain and, in some cases, even a perceived decrease in throttle responsiveness. Concerns about engine idling irregularities and the development of issues after prolonged use have also been highlighted, with one reviewer even changing their initial positive evaluation to a negative one due to engine performance complications. Overall, while the AEM 21-796C Cold Air Intake System impresses with its build quality and sound, potential buyers should be cautious regarding performance claims, as experiences can vary widely depending on the vehicle and individual usage. **
