- Question : How microns does it block?Answer : It’s my understanding that MERV 11 filters block particles as small as .3 micron
- Question : My filter doesn’t seem to get dirty. Any suggestions?Answer : They definitely collect a lot of dust, make sure that it is sitting snug inside the recessed frame of the air return and that no air is leaking around it or the return. Sometimes they don't suck up directly into the recessed frame when the air is on, to make sure that it is fitting snugly, you can use rubber or felt pads to force it to sit inside the frame.
- Question : Is the filter (and frame) flexible? the access to my furnace is such that it wont allow me to slide it in horizontally.Answer : No, it is stiff plastic frame.
- Question : My filter for my filter right now is 20 x 25 x4, will this filter be able to fit in my holder?Answer : Yes mine is 20x25 x2 and fit right in. My filter came with screws to mount it flush, which works great. This unit is more efficient than the thicker ones I use to use and the best thing is that it can be cleaned instead of throwing it away

- Question : Does this work in a furnace that takes a 25x20x5 filter??Answer : I am actually retired have a technician that filter would not fit unless you had some spacers to hold it in place. It would work fine as long as it doesn’t move inside the bracket that holds it.
