- Question : Why did little tikes make this great litcar so much more narrow than the older models? I like the original version better.Answer : I didn’t notice that it was skinnier. Our kids think it is just fine and have no trouble using it. They were never wide enough for 2 children to sit side by side. If it has become skinnier, I would venture a guess that it is because so many Cozy Coupes are being used indoors now and a slimmer coupe would go through door openings more easily. I’d call the manufacturer.
