Although they are advertised as food grade, there is no information about it on the box. Some sticks may have unfinished pieces that can cause splinters. The reviews are mixed. Most customers find them sturdy and durable, and of good quality for the price. However, some think that many sticks are a little flimsy, thin and bad, and some were cracked and falling apart before using. The recent box seems to have sticks that are narrower than the previous box, although still good enough to use. Some customers use them for waxing and break easily.
