    Answer : I use a drying mat underneath the rack at all times and I haven’t seen mold…..until today 😕. I’ve attached a video to show the area and, I think I will just put my silverware up as soon as it dries to remedy the problem. I love the dish rack and will continue to use it - like anything else in life….it needs maintenance. Clean the bottom routinely and no mold will grow.

    Answer : My first purchase of mold, then the seller told me the draining rack to do an upgrade, adding a waterproof layer, and compensated me a new one, this one did not mold.

    Answer : it does not drain into the sink, we put a nice towel under the rack to catch the little water that drips off the dish
