However it only lasts so long and slips back over time. Eventually, you will be replacing hinge pins which is really not a major project. The tool will get you buy until you can make time to fix it right.
- Question : Do you loosen the door hinge bolts first? Then adjust with the tool?Answer : No, don't loosen the bolts, this tool is to manipulate the door if it was tweaked in some way. If hinge bushings are bad, they should be replaced first.
- Question : Will this work on f150 2015-2020 aluminum door alignment?Answer : Should but use at your own risk. These aluminum vehicles seem to be pretty easy to damage.
- Question : Will this work on a 1985 GMC C30?Answer : It’ll probably work on anything with a door latch and striker. Hinge pins and bushings are cheaper than this tool.
