- Question : Does anyone know where I can find the screws that would be compatible with this side latch?Answer : I used the screws from the old one that was broken. If you don’t have the old ones measure the depth of your door and go to the hardware store and request self tapping sheet metal screws a forth smaller than the depth you measured so it doesn’t come out the other side. They are very inexpensive and you can do it by hand if you don’t have a battery powered screwdriver.
- Question : Mine did not come with new screws. Does anyone know what screws would be used to mount this to a standard bathroom door stall?Answer : We try to make fasteners available with our products but this product can be used with many different door thickness. The thickness will determine how long of a bolt you will need. For this latch a truss head shoulder bolt and barrel nut will work. This latch is available come in sets with all hardware and fasteners for in-swing and out-swing doors for 1 in. and 7/8 in. thick doors. TP1100 - B09128CCGF - 1 in. in-swing, TP2100 - B0911ZMT9W - 1 in. out-swing, DS-1-78 - B087JL672S - 7/8 in. in-swing, and DS-2-78 - B087JDWQH3 - 7/8 in. in-swing.
