- No backlight is required, and the display unit can be self-luminous. It has ultra-high contrast, bright and clear dots, and it is easy to read even small fonts
- There are no fonts embedded in the OLED controller, users can create fonts through font generation software.

- Question : Does this module include any embedded fonts?Answer : No, the OLED controller does not have any embedded fonts. Users can generate fonts through font creation software.
- Question : Can this display module be used with Raspberry Pi?Answer : Yes, the Hosyond OLED display module is compatible with Raspberry Pi and other microcontrollers.
- Question : Is a backlight required for this display module?Answer : No backlight is required for the self-luminous display unit.
- Question : Are the top 2 colored lines fixed with icons, or can they be programmed with text? Are they true colored pixels, or just a colored mask?Answer : Video could not be loaded
- Question : Are the color fields fixed or can you program any text in the top 2 rows?Answer : The colors are fixed. The top rows are yellow and the rest white. You can put whatever text you want at the top but if the font is too big the colors will be split.
- Question : Is this compatible with arduino uno wifi rev.2?Answer : Yes, upgrade past arduino 1.89 to version2.0 or above.
- Question : Has anyone got this to work with esphome? if so, which platform and model did you use? when i try it, it knocks off the wi-fi connection.Answer : I used devkit1 on arduino ide to run programs.
- Question : Can the display be dimmed or is each pixel just on or off?Answer : You can dim the pixel, their is a range, think 1 to 6. Lowest to highest brightness.
- Question : Is there a very low power mode accessible via the iic port for when the processor is in deep sleep mode? looking at rechargeable battery applicationsAnswer : Yes, their is slow power mode by default. I built projects using 9v batteries and sw restart. This is part of the circuit as their is fast wake up.
- Question : Where can I find a step file for this display?Answer : A STEP file is a mechanical model. I am not sure if there is one available on the internet, but you can create one for yourself without too much trouble.

Hosyond Single Board Computers Editorial Review
The Hosyond OLED display module is a small and affordable display compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi. The top two rows are fixed to yellow colour and the rest of the screen is blue. The text can be programmed at the top rows but the size should be small enough not to split the colours. The display can be dimmed with a range of 1-6 brightness levels, and can be put in slow power mode when the processor is in deep sleep mode. The products come with five screens, and four of them are bright with clear displays. A resistor can be moved to switch between 0x3c and 0x3d for two displays to be hooked up.
