Store in a cool, dry location. Refrigerate or freeze for extended storage.. When introducing a new food to your Conure or Lovebird, start slowly and give your bird time to adjust. Begin with a mix of Kaytee® Forti-Diet Pro Health® Conure & Lovebird Food and your bird's old food, gradually increasing the new food (and reducing the old food) over 7 to 10 days. This will help minimize dietary upset and allow your pet to adjust as the switch is made. Use the feeding amounts on the package as a guide. You may need to adjust the portions if you have multiple birds or need to help your Conure or Lovebird maintain a weight recommended by your veterinarian. Fresh water should be available at all times, and uneaten food should be discarded and the food bowl cleaned between feedings to ensure the freshest, most delicious food and the healthiest pet bird. |
