ACADEMY HOBBY MODEL KITS Spacecraft 12708 Editorial Review
The Academy Space Shuttle and NASA Transport model seems to have mixed reviews from customers. While some customers find it to be a nice model to put together, others have encountered issues with certain parts not fitting correctly and the paint not adhering well. One reviewer mentioned that they had to use a knife to make the parts fit properly. Additionally, some customers were disappointed with the size of the model, expecting it to be larger than it actually was. Another reviewer, who has experience building models for many years, criticized the quality and design of the Academy model. They noted warped wings and fuselage, a curved stand post, incorrect sizes of cockpit glass, and issues with landing gear doors and decals. However, one customer did appreciate the variety of space shuttle mission choices provided with the model. Overall, the Academy Space Shuttle and NASA Transport model receives mixed feedback. While some customers enjoyed assembling it and found it to be a great product, others encountered various issues with fit and design, resulting in lower ratings.
