Which is the newest one Black or red box? The one I received don’t look like the reviews pictures!!

The XTOOL D7W Wireless Bidirectional Scan Tool offers a variety of functions for DIY car enthusiasts. However, there are some limitations and issues to be aware of. One customer noted that the tool was unable to perform simple live data graphing on their 2006 Highlander, despite the demo showing that it should be capable of this function. Additionally, the tool was unable to communicate with the car for key programming, which may be a limitation of the make and model. The menu translations from Chinese can also be difficult to interpret, requiring some guesswork. Another customer experienced a battery issue, with the battery no longer charging after just 11 months of use. Despite trying to contact customer service, they were unable to find a way to resolve the issue. Despite these drawbacks, other customers have found the XTOOL D7W to be a valuable diagnostic tool. It offers bi-directional controls and has already paid for itself for some users. Customer service has been responsive, although they may not have all the answers.
