This set of 3 Japanese Tawashi Brushes is perfect for gentle scrubbing of pots, pans, and vegetables and is made of totally natural materials. Although it is mainly designed for cleaning fruits and vegetables, it can be used for other scrubbing jobs. The bristles are gentle enough not to scratch surfaces, but some customers complain that the bristles come off easily. The product is durable, made to last a long time, doesn't create waste, and doesn't collect nasty dish smells. However, some customers complain that food particles get stuck in the bristles. It is a traditional Japanese item, and customers who tried it for that purpose find it to be excellent.
