- Question : Does this actually keep the water heated while you clean?Answer : No, it does not have a heating unit, but l have found that for even larger cleaning areas (3x3 feet) hot tap water (typically around 120 F) is sufficiently hot to do the job.
- Question : Does this product kill dust mites?Answer : I don't know. But I don't know how it could since it isn't hot or steamed at all.
- Question : The info says it works with 220 V, is that true?Answer : I'm in the continental United States so my machine is set up for 120 volts(AC), and cannot be operated on 220 volts. Machines sold into the European and Asian markets may be set up for higher voltages though.
- Question : Do you always need to use a special solution or can you use just water or another type of solution?Answer : The special solution is good to use for carpets. I would recommend using different solution for less aggressive cleaning. For example I sprayed shout to spot clean my mattress then fill the machine with water which I used to removed the dirt and solution from the mattress. Always READ the Warnings on what kind of surfaces cleaning solutions can or cannot be used on
- Question : Is it for car seats?Answer : I think it would work really well on car seats. I would be careful about the kind of cleaner you use, just from a safety point of view.

- Question : Can I use this on a rug that's sitting on top of carpet?Answer : I did this once and let me tell you the smell is horrible. In the summer months, take the rug outside and clean it out there. Moisture gets trapped in between the rug and the carpet. If you do it inside be careful of your wood floors!
- Question : How is the carpet after cleaning the area? Is it left wet?Answer : My carpet was very slightly damp, it was pretty much fully dry within 20-30 mins afterward

It is effective for cleaning carpets and thin surfaces, but may require more effort for thicker surfaces like sofas and cushions. It can be used for car seats but care should be taken with the cleaner used. Some customers noted that it does not heat the water or have enough suction power for their liking, but others found it to be a favorite cleaning product that gets the job done. One customer had issues with the hose leaking and could not return it. Another received a damaged product. The carpet was slightly damp after cleaning and dried within 20-30 minutes.
