The A.M. Leonard All Steel Nursery Spade with Straight Handle is a strong and durable tool for digging and transplanting shrubs and young trees. The blade is long enough to reach under plants and can be used as a lever to pry plants loose. The foot rest saves damage to the soles of work shoes. While the shovel comes reasonably sharp, some customers have touched it up a bit more. It’s a bit heavy to work with, but once it’s unleashed, it cuts through anything. This shovel is highly recommended for anyone who is getting after it.
