Update (sort of) to this question, in case anyone cares. Some Alexa devices have zigbee controllers built into them now. I do not have one but this MAY be capable of connecting to those Alexa devices and controlling things that way. I have NOT tested this and do NOT know if it actually works with Alexa w/ zigbee.

Does this have z-wave?

I believe this is just a zigbee device.

Will this connect to the philips hue hub? I just dont want to buy a zigbee hub or anything.

No, you would need a zigbee hub. I use a Samsung smart things hub.

AEOTEC GP-AEOBTNUS Hubs & Controllers Editorial Review

The Aeotec SmartThings Button is a Zigbee remote control that can work with a Smart Home Hub. Customers have mixed experiences with this product, some having connectivity issues with third-party hubs and others having problems with the battery contacts. Despite this, the device works as intended with the Samsung SmartThings Hub and is easy to set up with the Hubitat Elevation C-7. One customer uses it to turn on/off lights remotely as a signal for work from home meetings, while another uses it to control a series of lights all at once. Overall, the product is well-made but overpriced for what it is, with similar Zigbee buttons available for half the price.
