The Presto 01241 4-Quart Aluminum Pressure Cooker is a great purchase for those who are on a budget. Although it doesn't handle heat as well as the stainless steel options and cleaning can be more difficult from cooking residue, it still works well for cooking meat and other foods quickly. It has a pressure regulator that rocks to let you know when it's reached the desired pressure and it cooks at around 14 1/2 to 15 psi. Some users have also reported being able to use it for canning small jars. However, be sure to check with your stove manufacturer before using it on an electric stove.
