Question : What is the thickness of the paper?
Answer : The paper is 11 mil thick, which is 18% thicker than standard lab prints.
Question : What types of printers is the paper compatible with?
Answer : The paper is compatible with all dye and pigment inkjet printers.
Question : What are the recommended print settings for Epson and HP printers?
Answer : For Epson printers, the recommended print settings are Premium Luster or Premium Semigloss-Semiglossy Paper. For HP printers, the recommended setting is Semigloss Photo Paper.
Question : Is the back of the paper plain white? Does it have the brand logo on the back?
Answer : The back of the paper is plain white - no brand/logo.
Question : Has any one used this paper as DVD covers? If so what was your experience like?
Answer : Seems like a waste of good photo paper to me, but I don't see why it wouldn't work.
Question : Can I use this paper with my pixma ip100 printer ?
Answer : Yes, our paper works great with ALL Inkjet printers.
Question : How do you tell which side to print on?
Answer : With a moist fingertip touch each side. The slightly sticky side is coated for printing. Same is true of other inkjet papers.
Question : Can you print on both sides of the paper?
Answer : No.
Question : My experience has been that inkjet photos are somewhat tacky/not smooth. Do you need a finishing spray with this paper to achieve this?
Answer : While not required, you can spray finish with a lacquer-based overspray such as Finestra Art's Photographer's Friend Lacquer Spray after printing to achieve increased lightfastness. The spray seals the print, gives it a waterproof coating, helps protect against scratches and inhibits UV damage. otherwise you should be good to go with just the paper on its own.
Question : Would this paper be good to print birth announcements on?
Answer : If your announcements are single sided, it will work great.
Question : Can I coat this with resin after I print, without the resin soaking the paper?
Answer : Yes, you can add more resin to it, but that would depend on how much or how thick of a layer you want. Otherwise, you really don't need it since it's already coated with resin.
Question : Has anyone used this on the Epson et-3760 ink tank printer, or any Epson ink tank printer?
Answer : Although we have not used this particular printer with our papers, our paper works great with Epson inkjet printers.
Question : How does this compared to canon's pro lustre? I'm looking for a paper that's just a touch smoother, if possible.
Answer : Ours is a true type E surface semi-gloss lustre made from premium base material. Users have great luck using the pro lustre profile with our paper.
