Acticoat 3 is a helpful product that is widely used for wound healing. The dressing does not have a specific side that has to be placed on the wound. However, it is advisable to cut the dressing to the size of the wound to be covered. The dressing is expensive, but it has excellent healing abilities, especially for foot wounds. Acticoat 3 is manufactured in England and does not adhere to the skin. The dressing is applied as the primary treatment and requires a secondary running dressing to seal it. Each package contains only one dressing, but depending on the size of the wound, it can last for a while. Acticoat 3 is made up of silver-coated fabric that is antibacterial, thereby promoting healing.
