- Question : Can you connect an external subwoofer?Answer : No. It would be best if you got a different model. The SR-C20A greatly improves the audio over the ones in my TV, but if you like room shaking base get a sound bar with a good subwoofer or one with a subwoofer out port.

YAMAHA SR-C20ABL Sound Bars Editorial Review
The Yamaha SR-C20A is a well-priced and compact soundbar that provides quality sound. Customers state that the soundbar is easy to install, great for the price, produces amazing clear, natural sound, has a compact size, is easy to connect with a TV and other devices via Bluetooth, optical cable or 3.5mm analog cable, comes with a remote control and has HDMI control. Users with Xfinity remotes state how the volume can be controlled and the soundbar turned on/off using the set-up button. The product cannot be used with a subwoofer, does not have a headphone jack, cannot be used as a MusicCast for the other Yamaha models and has an unclear labeling of the status lights. However, the flaky remote works well and the quality product is made better with the Bass Extension feature. Despite some drawbacks, the Yamaha SR-C20A soundbar provides great sound quality at a great price.
