Question : Which one do you prefer compared to the Almond Jai?
Answer : It really depends what you want to do with your hair, I've been using the almond jai for a while now after using the moisture butter with green tea for a few years. I have type 4c hair with low pros, and the butter is amazing. The jAi is a little thicker less slip. So more suitable for thick coarser hair ...both products are great for styling and twists outs. Her other products don't talk to me as much as those two. Hope this helps.
Question : Does this work better on 4c hair then the curls love moisture milk?
Answer : I haven't tried the curls love moisture milk but I know that product is similar in texture to their fresh curls. The curl aide is more of a thick butter than a lotion texture. I use it as my C in the LOC method and I use the Fresh curls or moisture milk as my L. You can also use it for a quick twist refresher when retwisting for the night. Hope this helps think of it as a light moisturizing butter.
Question : How often would you recommend it be use every day or every two?
Answer : I use it everyday or every other day. To keep my hair moisturized.
Question : Will this product work for slickback edges and puffs?
Answer : I love this product as a styler for braids and twists, however it doesn't offer a great amount of slip to be used to slick back your edges or puffs. It's more of a creme styler that is white in color and has a thick consistency.
