AEOTEC GP-AEOHUBV3US Hubs & Controllers Editorial Review

This is a rebranded Samsung SmartThings v3 Hub that can connect to the internet via Ethernet and Wi-Fi. It is mainly useful for extending pre-existing Wi-Fi for other devices. It requires no subscription but is currently cloud-dependent, with plans of becoming local-dependent through firmware updates. The hub only directly connects with Z-Wave or Zigbee devices, and WiFi devices usually connect directly with the SmartThings app. Customers had mixed experiences, with a few like the product for its ease of use, while others faced issues with connecting and maintaining connections with their devices, with some devices remaining unconnected. Additionally, the hub's software support is outsourced, and one needs to contact different support teams depending on their location.
