The detergent is effective at getting rid of stains provided you pretreat, but for very stubborn stains, try adding in a scoop of oxygen bleach like OxiClean or the dollar store's version. Though not as good as Kirkland laundry detergent, users have noted that for the price, it's well worth the purchase.
