- Question : Can the LED lights be customized?Answer : Yes, the users can program the LED lights to ascend in specific increments based on RPM range and flash when it is time to shift using the supplied rear connector.
- Question : Can the buttons be replaced with remote buttons?Answer : Yes, the supplied rear connector allows users to mount remote buttons for easy operation.
- Question : Is the display easy to read in daylight?Answer : Yes, the display features a full-color, daylight readable screen for easy readability in any lighting conditions.
- Question : Can it work with aim sensors? thanks.Answer : Indirectly it will support any sensor. This dash is fed data via a CAN bus interface, typically with the source being an ECU, so whatever sensors receive data there can be used with the dash. You can also use this with an OBD adapter with the 30-2217 adapter cable (not included,) but double check compatibility with your car first.
- Question : Will this work on Miata nb 2004 and is it just plug and play or ?Answer : The dash is universal so it can be implemented to work on a 2004 M Mazda Miata however the OBDII CAN info will not be recognized by the dash. You will need to use a CAN sensor module to get info from the engine to the dash. The OBDII scan for info coming from the OEM ECU is only for 2008+ newer vehicles.
