Can this be used with NeilMed pre-mixed packets?

NeilMed's packets are made for about 250ml of water if I'm not mistaken. ComfyPot has roughly 250ml volume so they should work fine. However, while packets are fine and we don't want to speak out against them, you can really just make your own similar mixture with a teaspoon of good quality salt and a pinch of baking soda. You will likely save money and you won't create so much rubbish with empty packets.

Can you put in the microwave?

Yes you can. I usually remove the green tip and microwave for 15-20 seconds.

No, it does not come with salt packets.

It holds up to one cup of water.

I just bought this and I noticed it says to first boil the pot to sanitize...does that mean to actually submerge the neti pot in boiling water?

I boiled water and poured it into the neti pot. Then I washed with dish soap. I've been using it for two weeks with no problems. The seller may be able to give you more information on the boiling issue.
