Maybe someone else said this. When I purchased it, I believe read from the product's description or maybe someone else's answer to a question that it is not leather. It is very nice covering though.
- Question : How large are the rings? 1/2'? 1''?Answer : The rings are about 1'' high. A stack of paper 3/4'' high would be around the effective capacity of this binder. It's a very nice faux-leather and brass look.
- Question : How many sheets does it hold?Answer : I used this as a display for an autograph collection that I have which was only about 25 sheets. The rings are about 1'' high, so the full capacity should be at least 100 pages. You could measure a stack of paper and figure that about a 3/4'' stack of paper could be held in this binder effectively. It also depends on how thick the paper or 3 ring binder sheets are. The Hemingway Classic Collection Executive Presentation 3 Ring Binder is a nice-looking binder made of high-quality faux leather with brass ring metal and brass corners in brown. The binder has a 1-inch round ring capacity and can hold up to 100 pages of regular thickness paper. It is perfect for keeping and presenting special family letters, certificates, or other memorabilia. However, it is not recommended for heavy use or carrying around on a regular basis as the rings may break off from the bottom of the binder.
