You can confirm our USDA organic certification by searching the name of our manufacturing facility in the USDA Organic Integrity database - "Bell-Carter Packaging". You will see the name of all of our tea bags noted in this database on the USDA website. You can confirm our Non-GMO project certification by searching for FGO in their database.

Why is there a warning from CA proposition 65 for this product?

The warning is pointless and has no real significance. It is just a legal requirement of California law.

Why does the nettle bag say "Raw from Bulgaria" if it is supposed to be 100% USA?

The nettle tea is 100% from the USA but it was probably shipped to the USA in barrels from Bulgaria and then packaged here.

What process is used to decaffeinate?

We decaffeinate our tea naturally using CO2 - the CO2 process is one of just two that removes caffeine without using chemicals.

What are the benefits of using this product?

One benefit is that it may help with diabetes. It has been noted that it can help lower blood sugar levels.

Is the matcha radiation tested?

Yes, all of our products are free of radiation exposure.
