The B008e7tcpu transmission mount is designed for use in specific Chevrolet Suburban and GMC Sierra models. However, it can be challenging to find the right transmission mount for your vehicle. Part # A2638 works for 1999 Chevrolet Suburban V8 5.7L 4WD. This mount is difficult to install without a transmission jack but is otherwise functional. While it is unclear whether this mount is suitable for the GMC Sierra 3500 with a 4L80 trans, it is recommended that you measure the bolt spacing to determine if it is compatible. The mount does not come with a nut, but one can be easily obtained from a hardware store. Customer Experience: - Worked perfect for my 1997 chevy tahoe RWD!! - 98 Tahoe 2wd fits like factory. - I like that I could find it easy. And it fits right on the money thanks. - Didn't come with a new nut. Soon as I put the old nut on it, it free-spun. Junk. - Worked well, but the threads were a different size and had to find a nut to fit, and there is a bit of more noise in the truck ( could be motor mount or trans mount both were replaced at the same time). - Worked perfect 94 GMC Sierra 2wd. It's not a clean or easy job, but this is a perfect fit. This filter change and 2 solenoids my trans shifts like it just rolled off the factory floor 👍.
