The DEWALT Magnetic Drive Guide comes with an extending sleeve that guides screws while preventing wobbling and slipping. It has an internal magnet and can be used with screwdriving bits. The guide is Impact Ready and intended for use with impact drivers but should not be used with a torque wrench. The length of the guide is 3 1/8" with the sleeve retracted and 4 11/16" with the sleeve extended. It fits #9 and #10 screw heads. However, customers have complained of the sleeve falling off when using it overhead, making it unusable. Some customers claim that the sleeve separates from the shaft, while others have reported that the clip lets go of the sleeve after using it for just a few screws. The product is generally not recommended.
