- Question : How does the manual winding mechanism work on this watch? Can it be overwound?Answer : Automatic watches cannot be overwound. If you need to wind it up because you have not been wearing it, you can either swing it gently side to side to get it started again before setting, or, for more accuracy, set it and then give it about 30 winds before putting it on. You can also keep it going between wearings with about 20-30 winds at the same time each day, if you like. A gorgeous watch by a fantastic maker--go for it and enjoy!

The Seiko SRPB77 Cocktail Time watch is a gorgeous watch, with a stunning dial and overall pleasing aesthetics. The watch runs very consistently, and punching above its price point for fit and finishing, it provides excellent value for the price. The bracelet is not a premium-feeling, but still looks nice, though it is advisable to get it resized by a professional. However, there are some downsides to the watch, particularly for those who prefer to have an easily adjustable band. The bracelet is attached with different pins/collar setup that may be difficult for the user to manage, and the band itself is made in China while the watch is made in Japan. On the other hand, the band problem appears to be less of an issue than expected, and most users report that the watch is of great quality and they cannot stop wearing it.
