The fact that I don't remember tells me it either came without the base installed or it was extremely easy to remove.

    Answer : No, I could not get it to stay on.

    Answer : If you notice, it doesn't come with an adaptor, so the little cube you have to buy has to be compatible with 220V and the input voltage is standard low voltage to iPhones, etc.
  • Question : I'm having trouble adjusting the brightness. Can you please provide a video?
    Answer : There is no adjustment wheel on the back of the clock.

    Answer : Switch to 24-hour mode.

    Answer : 3 brightness options easily switched by the '+' and '-' buttons.
  • Question : Can this run only on the battery?
    Answer : I found this clock to be very complicated and I returned it. It does have a standby battery, but I don't know how long it will last.

    Answer : It does not have auto brightness. There are two brightness settings but you have to manually select one.
