    Answer : No, the strip lights are uncuttable.

    Answer : No, these LED strip lights can only be controlled via Bluetooth and do not support WiFi connectivity.

    Answer : Even with the Govee app you can group your lights and create a 'Scheme' where they'll sync the same color, gradient or will mimic the color of an image but they will not sync with music played from the same device.

    Answer : Cut the strip at one of the 3 copper wire points, it should be okay to shorten the strip.
  • Question : Can you cut and reconnect these lights?
    Answer : Yes, you can cut and connect them as long as segments are in order and connected with extension wires at copper connection points

    Answer : No, the light strip cannot be connected in series because of power issue. They should be connected to different power adapters.
  • Question : Why is this sold as 32' when it's only 2 x 16', and you don't even recommend extending them?
    Answer : There is one controller that will connect to both 16' sections. The controller is located between the two strands of lights. Therefore you may have a total of 32 total feet. I don’t see a way to extend them beyond 32 feet. There are no connections at the far ends of the strands. The app and attached controller can/will control all 32 feet.

Govee H6147 LED Strip Lights Editorial Review

The Govee LED Strip Lights RGBIC is a great addition to any room or space. It is easy to set up and provides a variety of color combinations and effects that make it stand out from other LED strip lights in the market. The app control allows for segmented control of the lights which means they can be grouped together to create a scheme that will sync the color gradient or mimic an image. However, they will not sync with music played from the same device. Users can shorten or even extend the strip lights by using copper connection points with no issues whatsoever. It is also bright enough to be used as a regular light when set to white light. As for power sources, one strip light should be connected to one adapter as it can't be connected in series due to a power issue. The strip lights can be connected together via the controller between the two strands of lights, but there is a limit of 32 feet. Overall, the Govee LED Strip Lights RGBIC is easy to control and provides great color effects. It is worth the money and highly recommended.
