This allowed me to position the tv bracket off-center of where the supporting studs were in the wall. I used 38" pieces of Unistrut which are completely hidden behind the tv.

Perlegear TV Wall & Ceiling Mounts Editorial Review

This is a full-motion TV wall mount suitable for single wood stud, concrete wall, and brick wall. It has a VESA range from 100mmx100mm to 400mmx400mm and is compatible with 26"-55" monitors up to 100lbs. The TV wall plate is one piece and cannot be separated. However, the TV brackets are separated and can be mounted to the TV first, then connected to the TV wall plate. The mount permits tilting and swiveling of the TV set. Customers found this mount to be very sturdy and easy to install with clear instructions provided. It comes with all necessary screws and even includes a magnetic level. The majority of customers were satisfied with the purchase, and a few even mentioned that it freed up space.
