- Question : How are the sleeves lined?Answer : The sleeves are lined with a brushed almost knit fabric - very similar to the outer shell. The color is the same as the outter shell as well. Outer shell is 56% Cotton 44% Polyester. The sleeve lining is 60% Cotton, 40% Polyester.
- Question : Does it shrink when washed and dried?Answer : I personally ignore all directions on clothing tags. I wash mine in hot water and dry on high heat with my towels (several times) and it has yet to shrink or fade color.
- Question : Country of origin/manufacturer - look on label?Answer : Vietnam
- Question : In what temperatures would you wear this? I'm in RI, and we've already had snow! it's only mid-november.Answer : I've used it in 30 to 40 degree weather with just a long-sleeved sweater underneath and that kept me reasonably warm as long as it's not windy. I would recommended more layering or having a good insulator underneath, especially if it's windy in those temperatures. If you don't want to layer, the jacket is good for above 50 with just a normal shirt underneath. I don't think it will be that good for less than 30 unless you put a lot of warm clothes underneath, but I don't have experience since it doesn't get colder than that where I live.
- Question : Is this item water repellent in any way?Answer : No, it will soak up water like a sponge.
- Question : I’m 5’8 male, weights 165 and I usually wear medium. What size should I get?Answer : I am a 5'4'' female weighing 170 lbs. I got a men's small and it's perfect. You might want the medium. P.S. I love this sweatshirt!
- Question : How big is the Hood?Answer : My hood will comfortably close to the maximum size of a softball, which will keep out blowing rain and snow. I love the fleece hood; it's the most comfortable hoodie I've ever had.
- Question : I got this and it is shedding. Should I try washing it or just return it?Answer : Wash it. It will stop.
- Question : What are the sleeves lined with?Answer : Fleece. The sherpa is on the body and the hood.
- Question : What size - 5'2 ...150 lbs?Answer : Sorry, would not know.....I am 6'3'' and 210 pounds. The XL size I normally wear fit perfectly. I would purchase the normal size you wear in a sweater or jacket.
