    Answer : Stainless Steel has Nickel in the composition. Look up stainless steel elemental composition. There are several variations of stainless steel and they each have a different amount of Nickel. It is usually non-reactive and safe but extreme Nickel allergies may find their bodies still react. Also, short term skin contact is different than things like ear ring studs etc.
  • Question : Can additional replacement pads be purchased without an extra eyelash curler?
    Answer : My understanding is yes. It comes with a replacement and they offer you another free set or a tweezer when you get it.

    Answer : Honestly, neither Shu Uemura or Sheseido were good for me....the first was too curved and the second not curved enough. It's hard to find the right fit!

    Answer : It does work well for my eyelashes that are straight and short. However, it’s too wide and curved for my eyes. If you have more flat Asian eyes, it’s harder to get the eyelashes at the ends of your eyes.

    Answer : If by pads you mean the black cushion in-piece, then yes, this one comes with three. One inside and two extras!
  • Question : I use my blow dryer to heat my curler, does this get hot enough?
    Answer : Yes. I also run it under hot water.
  • Question : I had a bad experience with an eyelash curler it ripped some of my lashes out and now I don’t curl them but I want to. Does this rip lashes out?
    Answer : I don’t think that will be a problem with this curler. It is “stiff” (for lack of a better word) and doesn’t allow you to grip the lashes for very long. I’ve found pressing in several little pulses curls my super-straight lashes better than one hard press. I also never curl my lashes once I’ve put on primer or mascara. Hope this helps!
  • Question : I have almond shaped eyes, but ended up with a curler that was too wide last month. Pretty sure was pink & black Sephora. Anyone have a comparison?

I'm finding it a bit difficult to use, but I think it's because I'm out of practice. It's hard to curl my left eye, but I believe it's due to my own skill and not the device. The device is well made and packaged, so I would still recommend it.

I had this eyelash curler sitting in a drawer for 2 years because it's awful. It pinches my eyelids, pulls out lashes, and doesn't curl properly. It didn't work well on either of my eyes. I finally threw it away today.

This eyelash curler grabs at my skin under my eye and even caused some injury in the past. I don't understand why it does that.
