- Question : This might seem like a silly question, but I'm considering this product for some foot fungal issues, but wondered if it might help with squeaky boots?Answer : There are no silly questions. In the past, I had a squeaky boot and recall trying everything in my arsenal to combat the aggravating noise, including Lotrimin foot powder. To the best of my recollection, it did not help, at least not in the long term. I recall trying various pieces of cling-wrap, felt, craft foam, re-purposed shoe foam inserts, powders (talc and cornstarch), and even silicone lubricant (disastrous). I think my final solution was gluing some kind of foam piece to the area that was determined to be making the racket. Apparently sending a golf cart to Mars and having it do donuts in the sand is easy compared to dealing with squeaky boots. Thoughts and prayers, my friend.
