    Answer : I don't think it's fragrance free but I only notice a STRONG scent when we are initially filling the cat box. Once the dust settles, the smell goes away.
  • Question : How does this compare with Dr. Elsey's Dust free litter?
    Answer : Dr. Elsey's is hypo-allergenic and this isn't. We switched to this and our cat started having lots of skin issues, licking bare spots, etc. We're switching back to Dr. Elsey's. If your cat doesn't have skin allergy problems, then this is better in terms of dust / smell. But, if any of you have the same problem as our cat, then keep in mind this may be the reason. I hope it helps.
  • Question : Can this be shipped other than usps? It’s extremely inconvenient because they don’t drop it off, I have to pick it up from the post office
    Answer : I had to pick up mine at the Post Office too. It was a strain for the person who carried it to the car for me. Then there was a wait until a helper could take it from the car and divide it into manageable weighted containers. You might ask the seller about other options.
  • Question : I use the arm & hammer clump & seal kitty litter (maroon box is the best) but now the wording platinum - what the difference??
    Answer : I love the Platinum A&H litter, it's track and dust-free, very easy to clean the clumps stay clumped, when you re-fill the cat box there's no cloud of dust to choke you. I really don't notice any fragrance coming from the Platinum like the other A&H litter, but is great at keeping cat smells from drifting out. I've used all but the Lightweight litter from Arm & Hammer and Platinum is the best. ☆☆☆☆☆

    Answer : Yes it is.

    Answer : No idea
  • Question : Is red box lightweight formula as affecive as the original red box clump & seal?
    Answer : I tried it awhile ago and found the original clump & seal worked better living in a very humid, tropical area. It may work great in more dry areas or they may have improved the formula.

    Answer : Thank you for your question. This litter can be used in electric litter boxes.
  • Question : How is it different from slide, multicat and Micro Shield?
    Answer : I prefer slide because it really does clump better. I have fewer little pieces shaking loose and falling through the slits in my scoop. I don't believe I've tried micro shield.
  • Question : How does this compare with dr. elsey's cat ultra premium clumping cat litter which i have been using?
    Answer : I've not used dr. elsey's cat litter so I can't compare the two. But I can say that my cat was urinating frequently (we discovered he has diabetes) and Arm & Hammer's litter became like cement. I would never buy it or use it again.

ARM & HAMMER Clump & Seal Platinum Clumping Cat Litter is a great choice for multi-cat households. This litter is dust-free and tracks very little. The clumps are easy to scoop and it controls odors effectively. While it does have a noticeable fragrance when first filling the litter box, it dissipates quickly. It is user-friendly and can be used in electric litter boxes. However, it may not be the best option for cats with skin allergies.
